Hello and Welcome!

   Whether you refer to us as House Designers, Building Designers, or Plan Drafters, we call ourselves Residential Designers. We practice Residential Architecture, which means we design and draw house plans for the construction of houses. Some people still refer to the plans as 'blueprints' however most plans are digitally copied these days. We draw all our plans on CAD (computer assisted design)
    Other services include design for additions and remodeling. We have produced several copyright and patent drawings. So whether you need Floor Plans, Home Design, Home Planning, Home Remodeling, House Plans, House Design, or whatever you want to call it, South Florida Drafting is here to help make your dream home a reality.
    South Florida Drafting was established in 1974, and has been under current management since 1984. We are members in good standing of AIBD (American Institute of Building Design) and NCBDC (National Council of Building Designer Certification) Scott Maurer, owner, has passed the examination to use the title of CPBD (Certified Professional Building Designer)
